Harem inspection by Imams

The Imams, the religious scholars insisted on monthly inspections of all Pasha's mothers-to-be. All pregnant women had to be thoroughly inspected by these old holly men. If a woman exhibited any sign of immodestly enlarged feminine parts, she was immediately escorted by one of the scholars to the harem clinic where the harem doctor performed a by them recommended intimate trimming.
